Onsite Research Appointments

Researchers may make an appointment to use the Archives’ collections in advance. Appointments are $10.00 for non-members, $5.00 for students (with ID), and free for Museum members. This fee includes admission to the Museum’s exhibits (but not a tour of the White House of the Confederacy). All appointments must be scheduled in advance—preferably two weeks—by emailing us.  No calls please.

Correspondence Research

Research may be performed by our staff via correspondence at a rate of $10.00 for the first hour (waived for members) and then $30.00 for every hour after for detailed requests requiring more time. Please submit your inquiry in writing, being sure to include your mailing address. Fees must be prepaid before research results are mailed.
