Research Services

The Museum of the Confederacy receives a heavy volume of requests for its research services. Therefore all inquiries and requests are handled in the order in which they are received. Please allow up to eight weeks for your reply.

The Museum charges fees for research services. Free or reduced fee research services are a benefit of membership. All researchers will be billed for photocopies (25¢ per copy), postage (beyond current first-class rate), and shipping charges as applicable.

All appointments must be scheduled in advance, and requests for all other services must be submitted in writing to the department from which you are requesting service:
