“The Common Soldier of the Civil War” Homeschool Day

Two Sessions- Morning Session:  10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Afternoon Session:  1:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.

This hands-on program will examine the life of the common soldier through reproduction objects, crafts and living history.  Find out what soldiers wore, carried, and ate.  Children will enlist in the army and undergo a drill as raw recruits.  Advance Registration required.  Please specify either the morning or afternoon session when you register.  Space is limited, so reserve your space early!  To register or for more information, contact Hilliary Turner at (855) 649-1861 x 122 or by email for more information.  Admission:  $5 for Adults and Children 5 years and up.
