DeVault Family Vineyards will be featuring 9 of their wines for tasting including 8 varieties that are entirely produced and bottled in Concord, VA. They will be showcasing their award winning Darien’s Reserve, which is an aged, oaked Norton wine.

Sharon DeVault of the vineyard says "We are particularly proud of this variety, because of its rich roots in Virginia.  The Norton grape is truly Virginia’s grape.  It was first introduced in 1820 by Dr. Daniel Norborne Norton in Richmond, Virginia.  Around 1830, the Norton grape was introduced commercially and soon started to dominate wine production.  This deep blue-purple grape was well known before prohibition and was even hailed as producing 'the best red wine of all nations' at a worldwide competition in Vienna around 1873. We are a family owned and operate winery, and our proud to be sharing the fruit of our labors with our neighbors and friends!"

Tasting fees will be $2.50 for Museum members and $5.00 for non-members.
