Victorian Christmas Ornament Workshop and Pictures with Santa

Get into the holiday spirit by bringing your entire family and joining the staff at the Museum of the Confederacy-Appomattox between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm in making Victorian Christmas ornaments and decorations. Adults and children will be taught how to make simple Victorian style decorations for their Christmas Tree. One ornament of special interest will be a butterfly patterned after one made by Mrs. Jefferson (Varina) Davis and hung on the White House of the Confederacy’s Christmas Tree.  Santa will be present from 1:00-4:00 pm for photo opportunities and to hear your Christmas wishes. The Haversack, our gift shop/bookstore will be open and is the perfect place to find a unique gift for that person on your list “who has everything!”

Cost: Regular museum admission and then $1.00 per ornament, $2.00 per picture.
