Civil War soldiers used a painted canvas bag called a haversack to carry all of their worldly goods and keepsakes. Today the Haversack Store Online continues this important function by offering unique and distinctive items representing the Museum of the Confederacy's exhibitions and programming. Features General Lee's signature prominantly displayed on the front with the years 1807-2007, and Lee's three gold stars of rank that he wore throughout the war.
