Future home of the Museum of the Confederacy Appomattox sign unveiled.

On Wednesday, August 4, 2010 a number of dignitaries and friends gathered for a short ceremony to unveil a sign announcing the future home of the Museum of the Confederacy-Appomattox.  A celebratory reception followed at Spring Grove Farm, the home of Emily and Joe Sayers. Following remarks by museum President and CEO S. Waite Rawls III, Board Chairman Rosie Page, and Delegate Watkins Abbitt, members of the Friends of Appomattox were recognized.
