I. Memorial Court and Galleries

Our lobby area in the Memorial Court offers a unique setting for your next after-hours reception, dinner, meeting, lecture or presentation. Your three-hour rental fee includes having all of the galleries in the Museum available for your guests to explore (Ask about guides to add a special red carpet feel); free parking in the MCV Visitors Deck adjacent to the Museum; onsite staff & security; and use of the Museum’s tables, chairs and podium. Three-Hour Rental: $950 Each additional hour: $150
II. White House Garden and South Portico
Portico — 620 square feet, Garden — 550 Accommodates: 80 100 White House interior not available for rental; access by guided tour only.
The garden and south portico of the White House of the Confederacy will set an elegant atmosphere for your next special event. This historic space is perfect for warm weather receptions, daytime events, lectures or meetings, or as spill-over for larger events held in the Museum. The south portico overlooks the courtyard garden featuring the original fountain. You may arrange for guided tours of the restored antebellum White House for your guests. Your three-hour rental fee includes free parking in the MCV Visitors Deck adjacent to the Museum; onsite staff & security; and use of the Museum’s tables, chairs and podium. Three-Hour Rental: $500 Each additional hour: $100
Rent both the Museum and the White House garden area for $1200; each additional hour $150.
III. Stuart Meeting Room
577 square feet Accommodates: 40 theatre style, 25 conference style, 30 seated meal Does not include access to Museum galleries; inquire about discounted tickets.
Imagine the excitement when you tell them you’re holding the next daytime or after-hours meetings, receptions, lectures or small meal functions inside a museum! Your three-hour rental fee for our meeting room includes free parking in the MCV Visitors Deck adjacent to the Museum and use of the Museum’s tables, chairs and podium. If you rent after the Museum’s weekday business hours, onsite staff and security are included in your fee as well. Three-Hour Rental on weekday business hours: $150 Each additional hour: $50 Three-Hour Rental on weekends or after hours: $225 Each additional hour: $75

Let our staff coordinate your meal for you! All of the options below are set up in the unique atmosphere of The Museum of the Confederacy and may be combined with the extended rentals above. They do not include access to the galleries or the White House unless group tours are arranged. Additional programming may be arranged. Food arrangements must be paid in full two weeks in advance. |
I. Cocktail Reception - Minimum 25 people
Show your guests a little Southern hospitality with a cocktail reception. After-hours the information desk in the Memorial Court of the Museum can be set up to serve drinks to your guests as they enjoy a classic spread of hors devours surrounded by Civil War history. Starting at $28 per person in addition to room rental OR group admission

After touring the Museum, you've built up quite an appetite, but where to eat? Not to worry. Let the Museum help you plan your dining options, with recommendations of signature stops in the area, as well as the ability to coordinate reservations with select restaurants hassle free.
