The Museum of the Confederacy-Appomattox is located along SR 24 at the intersection of US 460, less than two miles south of the entrance to the Appomattox Court House National Historic Park.

From the West- Roanoke, Lynchburg (US 460)
Take US 460 east toward Appomattox. Take the second Appomattox exit (SR 24 East). The museum is located on SR 24 on the left. Turn left onto Horseshoe Rd. for parking.

From the East-Richmond, Farmville, Petersburg (US 460)
From Richmond take I-95 South to Petersburg. Exit onto to US 460 West toward Appomattox.  Get off at the Appomattox SR 24 North Exit. The museum is located at the end of the exit ramp. Turn right onto SR 24. Turn left onto Horseshoe Rd. to park.

From the North (SR 24)
Take SR 24 West into Appomattox County. Continue past the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park towards US 460. The museum is located on the right side of SR 24.  Turn right onto Horseshoe Rd for parking.

From the South-(US 29)
Take US 29 North to Lynchburg. Turn right onto US 460 East toward Appomattox. Get off at the Appomattox SR 24 North Exit. The museum is located along SR 24 on the left side. Turn left onto Horseshoe Rd. for parking.
