	MUSEUM OF THE CONFEDERACY The Museum of the Confederacy houses the world’s most comprehensive collection of Confederate artifacts, including personal effects of R.E. Lee, “Stonewall” Jackson, J.E.B. Stuart and the common soldier. WHITE HOUSE OF THE CONFEDERACY Restored to its antebellum splendor, the White House of the Confederacy served as the executive mansion to Jefferson Davis and his family. Your guided tour will take you back to those Civil War years.
	RICHMOND NATIONAL BATTLEFIELD PARK CIVIL WAR VISITOR CENTER The historic Tredegar Iron Works serves as the Civil War Visitors Center for the Richmond National Battlefield Parks and the starting point for the Richmond battlefields. Exhibits provide historical context to Richmond’s important role in the Civil War and the story of two major campaigns. www.nps.gov/rich AMERICAN CIVIL WAR CENTER The American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar is the nation's first museum to interpret the Civil War from Union, Confederate, and African American perspectives. www.tredegar.org
	VIRGINIA STATE CAPITOL Inspired by Thomas Jefferson, the State Capitol housed both the Confederate and Virginia legislatures during the war. It is also the site of Robert E. Lee’s acceptance as commander of the military forces of Virginia. www.virginiacapitol.gov
	MONUMENT AVENUE Known as one of the South’s most beautiful boulevards, Monument Avenue is lined with elegant houses and statues in memory of Confederate leaders. Monument Avenue was developed during the memorial period following the Civil War.
	HOLLYWOOD CEMETERY Established in 1840, Hollywood Cemetery is the final resting place of 18,000 Confederate soldiers, including Generals George Pickett and J. E. B. Stuart. Jefferson Davis and his family are also buried here. Overlooking the James River, Hollywood Cemetery has spectacular vistas. www.hollywoodcemetery.org
