What varieties of herbs would’ve been in the gardens of people living in the Piedmont area of Virginia? Faye Stratton will share information about herbs that were grown and used to treat ailments, flavor food, and clean the house. Come and see some of the herbs used during this time period and compare their purposes with our modern uses.

This program will run twice, once at 11am and again at 1pm.

Cost: Free, with Museum admission.
