Private Events at the Museum and White House of the Confederacy

The Museum and White House of the Confederacy offers your guests a unique entertainment experience with several elegant venues for special events. Each gives your guests the opportunity to see Richmond as the leading city in the ante-bellum South. Rental options include the Moody Memorial Court, the White House Garden, the South Portico of the White House and the Maj. Gen. JEB Stuart Conference Room.

  1. Moody Memorial Court and Galleries | $950
    Each additional hour $150

    Fee covers: Three hours, free parking in the MCV’s Deck, on-site staff member, tables, chairs, &/or podium.
    Accommodates: 150 standing reception, 65 seated meal, 100 seated lecture. (1,000 square feet)
    Not available during Museum hours.
     

  2. White House Garden & South Portico | $500
    Each additional hour $150

    Fee covers: Three hours, free parking in the MCV’s Deck, on-site staff, and tables, chairs, &/or podium. (Portico - 620 square feet).
     

  3. Moody Memorial Court and Galleries, plus White House Garden | $1200
     
  4. Maj. Gen. JEB Stuart Conference Room | $50 per hour (weekday business hours)
    $75 per hour (after hours and weekends, 3-hour minimum)

    Fee covers: Three hours, free parking in the MCV’s Deck, on-site staff, tables, chairs &/or podium.
    Accommodates: 40 seated theater, 25 conference style (577 square feet)
     

  5. After-Hours White House Tours | $5.50 per person (20 person minimum)
